Position: Kitchen Porter

Hours: Full Time (Evenings and Weekends expected)

Start: August

Salary: £10ph plus share of tips

 

Banks Restaurant is looking for a hard working individual to help make sure the kitchen operations run smoothly. Be in charge of making sure all kitchen areas and equipment is kept to a clean and hygienic standard. Help with deliveries and light food preparation. Great team player and keen to learn.

Position: Front of House (FOH)

Hours: Full and Part Time (Evenings and Weekends expected)

Are you a well presented, outgoing individual able to keep a smile in a fast paced atmosphere? Does going the extra mile come naturally to you?  We are ready to take the restaurant to the next level and are looking to add to our team. Offering bistro-style brunches, and lunches during the day and continuing to offer an elegant evening service.

FOH

Position: Chef (various)

Hours: Full Time (Evenings and Weekends expected)

Start: August

Salary: Dependent on experience

 

Chefs Wanted. Working Alongside Our Head Chef to create seasonable menus using only fresh ingredients. Be in charge of allocated section and must maintain highest practices of food safety and hygiene standards. Pastry skills are a bonus but not necessary. Must have a real passion for food and ingredients. No Chef Mikes need apply we cook everything from scratch and to order.

 

* Level 2 cooking qualifications preferred.

* Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.

* Minimum 2 years experience

* Real Passion for Food and Cooking

* Maintain personal and workplace hygiene practices at all times.

Chef

Position: Bar Staff

Hours: Full and Part Time (Evenings and Weekends expected)

Start: August

Salary: £10ph plus TIPS

 

Are you and experienced barman/barwoman with a big personality and even bigger smile able to conjure up amazing cocktails whilst giving life advice? Do you have an understanding of beverage products and knowledge of the classics (knowledge of wines is a bonus)? Do you have the gift of the gab and want to call the shots whilst you pour shots? Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of an exciting new Hospitality venue along with a great team?

Bar

Position: General Manager

Hours: 40-48pw (including weekends and evenings)

Start: August

Salary: Dependent on experience

 

Job Description: Responsible for total operations of Banks Restaurant. Supervises and controls all activities and staff in accordance with company standards and procedures. Responsible for business performance and must maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, consistency and health & safety.

 

Job Duties

  • Ensure all guests feel welcome and are given attentive, friendly and courteous service at all times.

  • Coordinate entire operation of the Restaurant, Function Room, Guest Rooms and Outdoor space

  • Provide assistance in areas of operation as circumstances dictate.

  • Maintain highest standards of Hygiene, Training, Legality and Health & Safety.

  • Maintain finances including Banking, Pay Roll, Utilities, Invoicing and Stock Control.

  • Ensure adherence to Company Cash Handling and Receipts Reconciliation procedures.

  • Hire, Train, Motivate and Maintain adequate staffing levels.

  • Set performance expectations to monitor and maintain quality of training.

  • Prepare all required paperwork including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner.

  • Maintain online and booking operations.

 

Candidate Requirements: Must be a highly organized and motivated individual. Able to be outgoing and friendly but also able to be assertive but fair with staff. An out the box thinker able to spot opportunities for improvement and able to implement them. Hungry to help establishment grow moving forward. Good accountancy skills and must be a Microsoft Office whizz. Must have Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
